Manufacturing Update

Hello agents!
I hope everyone is having a great end of spring as we head into summer!
I wanted to update everyone on where we're at with manufacturing MIND MGMT. I had been told that printing should be done June 25th, but it has now slipped to July 15th. China was on lockdown for a few weeks with people not able to leave their homes, so we obviously lost time there. July 15th means we probably won't be able to deliver in August unfortunately. It's more likely that they'll ship out in September. Sorry for the bad news. But everything is moving along nicely and I'm getting some behind the scenes footage too!
That last one is showing how a card fits in the secret mission envelopes. We didn't want to show a real secret card, so this is just a random feature card!
Address Changes
There's still time if you have an address change - but now you just need to message or email me directly: jay @ offthepagegames.com.
Harrow County
We just sent the files off to the printers last week to get samples made for Harrow County! This is what you need to do so you can send preview copies to content creators! Once my manufacturer confirms how long it will take them to make it, then I'll be able to lock in an actual Kickstarter launch date. It's looking more like October now - which should be good because Harrow County is a perfect horror game for October!
We do have the final box cover art ready to show off. Check it out (and head over to Boardgamegeek to LIKE the image to see if we can get it into the hotness!).
You might be wondering why there is a hole in the front of the box. This game uses a cube tower to resolve combat. We've built the cube tower INTO the main box. So you're going to toss cubes into a hole in the top of the box and the cubes will come out the front of the box - out of that hole, which has some very important relevance to the story of Harrow County! It's really super cool to see!
New MIND MGMT Comic
Matt Kindt has started his own brand/line of comics under Dark Horse called Flux House Comics! His first comic will be a MIND MGMT mini-series! That's due out very soon, so ensure you ask your comic store to order one for you!
Harrow County has 1 issue out of their new series, with issue 2 coming this week. It's definitely for fans that have read the previous stories as it focuses on Emmy and what she's been up to since that ended.

Shipping Addresses are Locking Soon - and RETAILER update!

Hello agents!
I just heard from my manufacturer that things are on track for printing to be completed by June 25th! This is fantastic! It means that they can then be put on a boat (possibly immediately, possibly not, based on availability of boats!), and then 4-6 weeks on the water, then some amount of time to fulfill! So there's still a good chance that at least some of you will be receiving the game in August. Of course we could experience all sorts of shipping shenanigans, so I can't promise things I can't control - but things are looking good!
So, this means I need everyone to lock in their addresses by May 25 so we can figure out how many units are going to each hub and prepare the shipping documents. If your address hasn't changed then you don't need to do anything, but if your address has changed or will change by August, then go back in using the same link that you originally used to change/update your address. If you can't find that link, you can request another one right on the BackerKit site.
Retailers
Hello friends! So sorry if I haven't responded to your emails. I did a goofy thing when I sent out that google survey and asked in there for your email. Many gave a different email than the KS email you used to back this game and so it made it nigh impossible for me to cross reference who is who. I'm still working through them and will reach out to a few more for clarifications. Apologies for the delays! I'll also reach out to Asian retailers to see if you have VFI pickup so I don't have to charge you for any shipping!! We're literally working on it all right now - so progress is being made. No worries - as we still have plenty of time. Thanks for your patience and understanding.

We're growing! We've now hired a part time Social Media Manager who will take care of all my social media needs! If you've seen a tweet/FB post/Insta post in the last month, chances are it was from Dina Ramse! Looking forward to her contributions, and freeing up more of my time to do other things!
We also brought on Gino from Alberta as our bookkeeper and spreadsheet master! He's neck deep in sorting through our retailer list, but he'll really help me get my accounts in order. This will be a huge boon for me and this company, allowing me more time to focus on the games!

Harrow County: The Game of Gothic Conflict
This is our next game, coming later this year (late summer, early fall!).

We are getting really close to finishing up the art to send to get some samples ready! We're testing multiple times per week. What's great now is that the testing is more about specific wording to ensure things are clear and no longer about mechanics as those are all solid! We will be at Gen Con demoing this game, and I'll share more details about that in our next update. You can follow along for more sneak peeks on our Facebook Group. Heads Up - Charging Credit Cards for BackerKit Orders

Just wanted to give you a little heads up that we plan to charge cards for add-on items you purchased or any additional funds you may owe through BackerKit on April 30th (around 9am PST). This charge will appear on your bank statement as OFF THE PAGE GAMES. Please make sure that you have the correct card information on file. If any issues arise with your payment you’ll receive an email letting your know to correct your payment information.
If you need to review payment information, you can return to your survey by clicking the link in your survey email or requesting your survey link under "Lost your survey?" on our BackerKit project page at https://mind-mgmt-secret-missions.backerkit.com
You will still be able to update or change your address for a few more months yet. I'll send another update when that will close!

Pledge Manager Closing in 10 days!

Pledge Manager Closing!
Greeting agents! Short update to let you all know the most important thing: The pledge manager (BackerKit) will be closing on April 30th. At that time we'll be charging your credit cards.
So you have 10 days to get your orders in and update your address. You'll still have time to update or change your address for a few more months. Once we get closer to shipping I'll send another reminder to let everyone know how much time you have to update your address.
You should have many emails from BackerKit with a link to your own pledge. Check your spam if you haven't seen it - or email me if you can't find it (jay @ offthepagegames.com).
If you want to change your order, you can go back in until April 30th to alter anything.
If you want a refund, I can make that happen, but I do have to reduce the refund amount by 10% as that's already been charged to me by Kickstarter.
Timeline
We still are on track to deliver by August - but there are definitely possible delays ahead if shipping continues to be a challenge. We'll see as we get closer.

Matt Kindt just announced that he's starting an imprint over at Dark Horse comics called Flux House! His own line of comics!! Guess what the first comic is going to be? A brand new MIND MGMT story! Amazing! Can't wait to see how Matt reinvents the comic industry!

Hello agents,
While many of you don't have the game yet, there are a bunch of you who do. It's with immense pleasure that I can announce the full launch of the MIND MGMT App!
For backers of the original Kickstarter, it's been a long wait to get to this day, but boy oh boy - I'm sure you'll say it's worth it once you check out the app! It's beautiful and has an amazing user interface.
With this app you can play solo or co-operatively as you try to hunt down the Recruiter. To play the app, you do need the board game as the app doesn't teach you to play, and it doesn't have any mental note tokens. The concept is that you have the physical game out and then, whether you're playing solo or co-op, everyone can see the board, add their own mental note tokens and interact with the pieces. This game has a very smart AI that will make you pull your hair out at times, but also, as in the physical board game, it's fair and balanced.
I want to thank my developer for the enormous amount of work that went into this. They're not looking for recognition as they're not continuing to make board game apps after this (got in just in time apparently!).
SHIFT System?
Is the SHIFT System included in the app? Yes...but a bit differently. We brainstormed a lot on how best to do this and we decided on 2 things:
1) It's better if we call them digital SHIFT packages as they will be either unique or presented differently than they physical game. This means that what's in SHIFT package 1 for the Rogue Agents in the physical game has different contents than what's in the digital SHIFT package 1 for the Rogue Agents in the app. Sometimes you'll be asked to get a component out of one of the SHIFT packages, but it will tell you which one. Other times we made up brand NEW SHIFT Packages for the app. We wanted to take advantage of the fact that this is an app. What can we do virtually / digitally that we can't do in person? We came up with a few new ideas and I hope you enjoy them.
2) There are 10 digital SHIFT packages that you will unlock the exact same way they unlock in the physical game: lose a game and you get a digital SHIFT package; win a game and the Recruiter gets a digital SHIFT package. Once unlocked, you can choose freely which packages to include or not include in every game. It truly does allow you to customize the difficulty.
Ratings and Buzz
I don't know how much ratings matter on iOS or Android stores - but feel free to rate it once you've played it a bunch.
I'd also love to use this to get some buzz going again for the game. We're still printing the second print run for the second Kickstarter that we did, so we don't have any units right now - but we can make the demand hotter. Feel free to mention that the app is ready on any social media platform! Chat about it in Facebook Groups. And you can give this image a thumb over at BGG and we'll see if we can get it into the hotness!
The pledge manager is still open but it'll be closing on April 30th (and that's when credit cards will be charged). You should have received a few emails by now asking you to complete your pledge. If you haven't received an email - message me here or with my email: jay @ offthepagegames.com. Let's see if we can get them all tidied up soon.
You will be able to change your address for a few more months. I'll definitely be sending another email informing you of that cut-off date.

If you've read the previous updates then you might already know that our next game is called Harrow County: The Game of Gothic Conflict. The art is almost done so that we can get samples made and sent to reviewers in advance of the Kickstarter happening this summer! Stay tuned for more.
